The first part of a current series I’m working on of retro styled weapons. This gun was inspired by  50s & 60s aesthetic with a modern twist.It was designed in Rhino and then 3d printed in my studio. The color scheme was chosen from my childhood home in Chicago ( Fun fact, I grew up In a lustron home, built and designed in the same period this gun is based off). The base colors were spray painted on, however the weathering and aging is a mix of backwashed acrylic paint and a majority of smudged oil paint.

    A blueprint was made to go along with the weapon to match the same period and style. It was created using mesh outlines from Rhino, in photoshop and illustrator.
