This side table is my first attempt at furniture building. The piece was made during my time in a introduction to furniture course, and was made to develop my woodworking skills. This project introduced me to the basic premise of table making, as well as new skills and techniques for projects that  require accurate measurements

  The table is designed for a modern beach house setting, and is made from blemished Popler to mimic the feel of driftwood.
