"Robots" Fiction Science gallery show reception

My new friend DC Spensley, gallery curator for San Francisco's Fiction Science Gallery was having an open call for Robot themed artwork for the upcoming show "Robots". There was a lot of fantastic robot themed artwork from a variety of different artists, Even some beautiful kit bashed model robots from an instructor at CCA! There was a fantastic turn out and one of the best show's I've been involved in since! I submitted a portion of my drone heads I had on display in my apartment. Sure I originaly designed the big ones as helmets, but that's nothing some wires and hoses cant fix. I made them look like they were ripped off from the bodies, Big improvement considering the base of the helmets were all chipped from the original pull, pulls the pieces together!

These pieces are fantastic! I didn't know I knew the artist at first. All kit-bashed from model kits and toys.

This guy here's my favorite! Kit bashed parts with a lot of foam core!

This guy reminds me of V.I.N.CENT from the Black hole, this is a sculpture I can get behind!

Three of my favorite paintings from the show. The robot on the far right confuses me a tad bit, is he in fear for his life of overjoyed? Only time will tell.
