This project required me to learn more in depth woodworking and wood shop skills than my previous  table project. All the pieces were cut using a router from laser cut templates.

   

  This pedestal was inspired by the skeleton hull of viking ships, and Middle Earth aesthetic. After many design iterations on paper, the final product is a trophy cage, displaying valuable items inside the cage resting on a sheet of clear glass inset into the bottom ring.
